Omaha Officer Back On Duty After Shooting

(Omaha, NE)  --  Omaha police officer Ken Fortune, who was shot while on duty last month, is back on duty.  The Lincoln Police Department tweeted a photo of Fortune, dressed in a police uniform, picking up cards and a gift sent to him by the LPD on Wednesday.  The police department said Fortune had fully recovered.  He was shot in the shoulder during a confrontation between gang-unit officers and two men in North Omaha on September 11th.
