Omaha Riverfront Jazz and Blues Festival

A potpourri of Jazz and Blues music By Chris Cooke/Host, Jazz in the Afternoon and Last Call, KIOS-FM.

Omaha, Nebraska – The Omaha Riverfront Jazz and Blues Festival takes place this weekend, Friday and Saturday, at the Lewis and Clark Landing in Downtown Omaha. As it has in the past, the festival presents a stellar lineup of national and local jazz and blues musicians.
Friday, July 7, 2006:
5:30 - 6:20 p.m. Steve Raybine Band
6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Big Brother and The Holding Company
8:00 - 9:30 p.m. Spyro Gyra
10:00 - 11:30 p.m. Chaka Khan
Saturday, July 8, 2006:
3:30 - 4:05 p.m. Big John Dickerson and Curly Martin
4:25 - 5:10 p.m. Luigi Waites
5:15 - 6:15p.m. Marcia Ball
6:35 - 7:40 p.m. Ken Ford
8:00 - 9:05 p.m. Mindi Abair
9:30 - 10:45 p.m. Rick Braun
In addition to the musical line-up, the event will include a Harley Davidson Give-A-Way. After the final performance Saturday night. a ?Jazz and Blues Fireworks Extravaganza" will be presented.
