Save Rosenblatt responds to new stadium recommendation

Omaha, NE – The Save Rosenblatt Committee is responding to the Stadium Oversight Committee's recommendation for a new stadium. Save Rosenblatt Chairman Jason Smith says the recommendation is, for right now, just that. He says the stadium recommendation is still subject to public hearings and city council approval.

The Stadium Oversight Committee reviewed eight possible downtown sites for a new ballpark, as well as two options for Rosenblatt Stadium. But Smith believes Mayor Mike Fahey never seriously considered options for renovating or re-building Rosenblatt.
