The field of 39 candidates has been winnowed down to 18 for the 9 Omaha Public School Board’s Subdistrict seats.
Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle will run for re-election May 14, and he’ll be opposed by City Councilwoman Jean Stothert.
The races for Omaha City Council Districts 2, 4, and 7 are set.
