The Sierra Club leads over 300 national and international outings a year, ranging from skiing in Glacier National Park, kayaking in Georgia, birding in Arizona, biking and hiking in Michigan… to trips to the Galapagos, Tanzania, Vienna, Scotland, and Japan. The Sierra Club has been leading environmentally-friendly adventure travel for over 100 years. Join us to learn more about Sierra Club trips with speaker Faye Sitzman, who has been leading Sierra Club outings for over 50 years. In 2020 she’ll be leading her annual trip to Maine, as well as an Arizona trip. Faye has lead over 50 national outings including many to the Boundary Waters Canoe area in Minnesota, has trained outings leaders for 40 years, and served on the Sierra Club’s National Outing Committee. Faye will give an overview of Sierra Club outings and answer all your questions about the national outings program—and we’ll see some pictures of her most recent trips. Sierra Club programs are free and open to the public.
