(Omaha, NE) -- The city of Omaha is planning an assault on potholes. Mayor Jean Stothert announced yesterday that crews will begin patching thousands of potholes with hot asphalt starting next Monday. Stothert says nine city crews are working from 3:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. each day to repair local roads. Contractors will be brought in to help patch potholes next week, meaning more than 30 crews will be on Omaha streets.
