RE: Vesper Concerts' latest - Tenor Taylor Stayton & Guest Conductor Hal France Chat “Live & Local”

International opera star and Omaha resident Taylor Stayton’s “laser-bright timbre” and “exceptional fluidity above the staff” (Opera News) continue to distinguish him as one of the most sought-after tenors in his repertoire!  Taylor will be joined by Omaha arts icon (and former Artistic Director for nearly 10 years at Opera Omaha) Hal France for this collaboration in an intriguing program of arias from "Proving Up" and "Eric Hermannsons’s Soul," two operas that are set in Nebraska and written by women composers, as well as some of Taylor’s favorite songs and arias.

The program is called "At Home In Nebraska" with a performance on August 25, 3:00 pm, at Presbyterian Church of the Cross, 1517 S. 114th St. in Omaha.   Hal and Taylor join Mike Hogan live at the KIOS-FM studios to chat about the program and the ever-growing artistic scene in Omaha.

Omaha musicians Olga Smola, violin, and Brian Sherwood, cello, will join Taylor and Hal as featured guests.  More information can be found at http://vesperconcerts.org
