Omaha is one of three cities to be awarded a multi-million-dollar federal housing grant. The 25-million-dollar grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Choice Neighborhoods Initiative will be used on the North 30th Street Corridor. Plans call for public housing to be redeveloped and surrounding neighborhoods to be revitalized.
