The holiday season is always demanding on the blood supply and this year is no different. Traffic accidents and other crisis drain the supply and donations are needed to boost blood inventory. All blood types are needed. There are six American Red Cross locations in Nebraska including Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island, Kearney, Columbus and at Offutt Air Force Base. The Red Cross is asking people to check out its website to learn where they can donate or how to organize a blood drive.
