Lincoln city officials are reminding people that personal protective equipment is not recyclable. City officials today said latex gloves, disinfectant wipes, and other P-P-E items must be thrown out with household waste. The Centers for Disease Control says those items should be placed in a separate plastic bag before they're thrown out. City officials are urging Lincoln residents to put all household waste in plastic bags before putting garbage in trash bins.
