The city of Lincoln is extending its public mask mandate. Officials announced yesterday that the Directed Health Measure that includes the mandate will remain in effect until October 28th. Lincoln/Lancaster County Health Director Pat Lopez says the mandate is being extended in order to prevent COVID-19 from getting worse by loosening restrictions too soon.
