The director of the Nebraska Department of Corrections is stepping down. Scott Frakes announced yesterday that he is resigning from N-D-C-S effective on October Seventh. Governor Pete Ricketts called Frakes a "highly effective leader" that moved forward major projects and guided the corrections department through the pandemic. Frakes has served as N-D-C-S director since 2015.
