Authorities are identifying a woman who was killed in an explosion at a chemical compound building in rural Grand Island. Thirty-two-year-old Adriana Alvarez, who worked at the Hornady Manufacturing Company, died in an explosion at the company's PVE West Building on Friday. Two other employees were injured in the incident, which took place during the mixing process of primer compound and was later determined to be accidental in nature.
