Plattsmouth Forced To Buy Clean Water From Omaha MUD

Residents in Plattsmouth are dealing with brown water. City officials tell WOWT that they believe the water is discolored because it is high in iron manganese and because the city is dealing with old pipes. Plattsmouth officials say replacing the old pipes at the city water plant would cost millions of dollars, so they plan to purchase water from Omaha's Metropolitan Utilities District.
