The union that represents Nebraska's state employees says they have reached a tentative agreement with the State on a new contract. It would run from this July until June of 2027 if approved. The minimum contract wage would be 15-dollar-per-hour and salaries would increase by up to 19-percent, depending on the job. Union members will now vote to accept or reject the agreement. Ratification meetings begin Monday.
