28th Annual "Irish Fest" is March 14th, Fr. Mike Eckley Discusses the Event on KIOS-FM

For nearly a century, whenever there are people in need, Catholic Charities has been there.  Catholic Charities ministers to the greatest and most fundamental needs of the community – advocating for the voiceless, hungry, addicted, abused, and forgotten, regardless of race, religion, creed, or socioeconomic status.  They serve over 80,000 Nebraskans every year.

Fr. Mike Eckley joins Mike Hogan "Live & Local" to discuss the many ways they help – from domestic violence to mental health, feeding the hungry to comforting the afflicted, protecting the most vulnerable, and helping people help themselves to rise above adversity.  And the major way they raise funds to provide all this help is through the 28th annual Irish Fest!  This year, Irish Fest is Saturday, March 14th at the Marriot Hotel Capitol District.
