The National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) Midwestern Region held a one-and-a-half-day meeting in Omaha, Nebraska. The meeting, hosted by Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson, who serves as Chair of the NAAG Midwestern Region, focused on “Confronting Health Care: The State’s Role in Combating Rising Costs and Ensuring Quality Care for our Constituents.”
One of the invited speakers was Dave Chase, author ofThe CEO’s Guide to Restoring the American Dream and co-founder ofHealth Rosetta, a nonprofit that promotes reform for the dysfunctional U.S. healthcare system. Dave knows healthcare stole the American Dream, but knows how we can take it back.
Dave stopped by the KIOS studios to chat with Mike Hogan "Live & Local" about the challenges of fixing the healthcare system in this country, the rising health costs, and the lack of transparency which have caught the AG's attention.
