(Lincoln, NE) -- Auto parts thefts are on the rise in Lincoln. Police say thieves have been targeting catalytic converters since the beginning of the year. The Lincoln Police Department has received more than two-dozen reports of catalytic converter thefts so far this year compared to six theft reports at the same point in 2018. Authorities say many of the converter thefts have taken place at businesses along Cornhusker Highway.
