Bill Cosby comes to Omaha

Bill Cosby's career spans five decades and virtually all media, remarkable accomplishments for a kid who emerged from humble beginnings in a Philly project. Cosby brought his stand-up show to Omaha’s Orpheum Theater last Sunday for a matinee show.  Omaha Public Radio’s Michael Lyon talked to the comedian by phone prior to his visit to Omaha.

Michael Lyon is a native of great Britain who immigrated to Los Angeles in 1981. His business background is in banking: residential real estate operations, mergers and acquisitions. As Director of Fair Lending for the nation's largest thrift, he oversaw the implementation of a $70 million 10-year community reinvestment initiative.
