There is a need for story in all of us. The history of mankind was passed down via oral stories before the written word entered common use. Nebraska StoryArts celebrates the art of passing along a story with the 18th Annual Moonshell Storytelling Festival at Mahoney State Park on Saturday, September 14th, from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Leo Arns, from Nebraska StoryArts joins Mike Hogan "Live & Local" to discuss the importance of story, how the day of storytelling will look, and how to be a part of the festival.
