Coin Shortage Leaves Omaha Businesses In Need Of Exact Change

Signs posted around Omaha indicate a need for exact change. WOWT reports some grocery stores or drive-thrus are asking customers to pay in exact change because of a shortage from the U.S. Mint. The coronavirus has slowed production, and banks are turning people away for rolls of quarters, dimes, and anything else. The federal reserve said issues will resolve themselves once supply chains return to normal.
