The U.S. House of Representatives is working to help fund repairs at Offutt Air Force Base. The House Appropriations Committee approved a funding package yesterday, including an amendment from Nebraska Congressman Jeff Fortenberry to set aside 241-million-dollars for the base. The base lost more than 230-million-dollars worth of equipment during the March floods. The House recently approved a supplemental spending bill that included 120-million-dollars in repair funding for Offutt.
