Creighton President Disagrees With Student Vote

Nov 14, 2019

The president of Creighton University is disagreeing with a student vote over fossil fuels.  Nearly 21-hundred Creighton students voted last week to ask the school to divest from fossil fuels and stop new investments in the fossil fuel industry by 2025.  Creighton President Reverend Daniel Hendrickson announced yesterday that the non-binding student referendum does not align with the school's goal of a properly diversified endowment.
