After being closed for more than a year and a half, Eighth Street between Douglas and Farnam in Omaha will reopen to southbound traffic tomorrow (Fri). Eighth Street closed in March of 2019 as the RiverFront project construction began. Since then, land in the area has been brought up to grade and the street repaved.
