Offutt Air Force Base is conducting its annual Major Accident Response Exercise Saturday.
The drill takes place from 9am to 4pm. It’s done to test readiness and procedures.
A news release from 55th Wing Public Affairs says the community may see clouds of smoke, hear loud noises, and see emergency helicopters and vehicles responding to the Base. It’s only a drill, and the public shouldn’t be alarmed.
