Former Police Chief Named Omaha Mayor's Chief Of Staff

(Omaha, NE)  --  Mayor Jean Stothert announced her new chief of staff in a press conference yesterday afternoon.  Thomas Warren, a community leader with 24 years of law enforcement experience, including 4 years a chief of police, will join the mayor’s staff officially on July 1st…If his contract is approved by the city council.  Warren retired from the Omaha Police department in 2008 when he then became the President and CEO of the Urban League of Nebraska, a position he holds to this very day.
