Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts is taking action after recent severe storms and flooding. The governor has issued an emergency declaration for areas affected by severe storms, tornadoes and flooding since May 16th. The move will allow the use of state funds for local storm recovery efforts. Twelve counties have already submitted disaster declarations.
