Greater Omaha Chamber's REACH Beyond Mentoring Program Helps Small and Emerging Businesses

The Greater Omaha Chamber is accepting applications for the second class of their REACH Beyond Mentoring Program.

The 12-month program matches area Small and Emerging construction businesses, or SEBs, with established general contractors.  The SEBs must have been in business for at least two years, and this class will run from June 2018 through May of 2019.

REACH Program Manager, Savannah Cuevas, says there is a tuition fee for the Beyond Mentoring program, which applicants should see as an investment in their company’s future.  She says there are a number of elements the tuition helps pay for:

“Gallup Assessment and Gallup 101 Training, Coaching and Feedback; Bellwether Assessments, Bellwether 101 Training, Coaching and Feedback; 1:1 coaching with the mentor, 1:1 coaching with  those professional service providers -- so time with an accountant and with attorneys, and also Chamber membership.  Our goal in everything that we do is to stress connections and relationship building, and we give them the opportunity to do that than through a Chamber membership.”

There will be 10-15 SEB protégés selected for this class, which Cuevas says is a competitive application process.  The on-line application closes on April 27th.
