(Bellevue, NE) -- Some homes that were wrecked by flooding in Bellevue earlier this year are being demolished. The Bellevue City Council voted earlier this week to condemn all of the houses in the Paradise Lakes development, nearly 200 total, and the first one came down yesterday. The rest of the demolition must happen by the end of the summer. There have been questions about who will pay for the activity, but the couple involved in yesterday's knock-down said they received assistance from FEMA that will help.
