New and classic holiday selections to presented By Chris Cooke
Omaha, Nebraska – Jazz in the Afternoon and Jazz Junction will present Christmas Jazz music this week.
Hosts Chris Cooke and Mike Jacobs will feature a lively mix of classic and new Christmas Jazz recordings on Tuesday and Wednesay's Jazz in the Afternoon broadcasts. Tuesday's broadcast will feature music from Jorge Nila and the Jazz Ninjas, Diana Krall, Eric Reed, and others.
Thursday's Jazz in the Afternoon hosted by Chris Cooke will present selections from jazz vocalist Ann Hampton Callaway's This Christmas CD, along with other seasonal favorites.
On Friday's Jazz in the Afternoon, host Mike Jacobs will play many of the classic Christmas recordings jazz fans have enjoyed over the years.
Jazz Junction host Rick Erben will present a program entirely dedicated to Christmas Jazz on his Saturday night show.
