Non-Profit "Keep Kids Alive Drive 25" Holding Big Event, Exec. Dir. Tom Everson Chats "Live & Local"

"Keep Kids Alive Drive 25" is a non-profit organization founded in the summer of 1998, KEEP KIDS ALIVE DRIVE 25® educates motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists to practice behaviors that keep us all safe on and along roadways.  They are based in Omaha and have worked with over 1700 communities representing 49 states, 2 Canadian provinces, and as far away as Australia. 

Tom Everson is Executive Director and Founder.  He stopped by the KIOS-FM studios to chat "Live & Local" with Mike Hogan about the mission of the organization and a special fundraiser event on November 7th at Shadow Ridge Country Club, (1501 S. 188th Plaza Omaha, NE) from 6:00 pm to 8:30 p.m.  This dinner event will have Featured Speaker Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer and give Special Recognition to Omaha Traffic Unit First Responders - Omaha Police Dept. and Skutt Catholic High School.
