National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness month has kicked off and it appropriately coincides with National Family Caregiver Month. On 11/15/18, there will be a ceremony at the state capitol to celebrate family caregivers.
The Alzheimer's Association, Nebraska Chapter has resources for family caregivers. Program Director Clayton Freeman chats with Mike Hogan live in the KIOS studios about the resources and, more importantly, the hope available to families dealing with Alzheimer's.
