Omaha Performing Arts’ Jazz Academy fosters quality jazz education in Omaha area middle schools. This free program connects students and teachers with a professional teaching artist to explore jazz on a deeper level.
Participating schools receive free in school clinics tailored to the needs of individual jazz bands throughout the school year, free jazz education workshops for middle and high school teachers, and performance opportunities for students.
