OPL's "Omaha Reads" Program in Full Swing, Librarian Erin Duerr Discusses Activities on KIOS-FM

Omaha Reads is a campaign, from the Omaha Public Library, to promote literacy and provide the city with a common theme to discuss.  One book is selected each year and celebrated with book discussions, author visits and related programs and events.  The selection for 2019 is author Ted Genoways' "This Blessed Earth."

OPL Readers & Writers Librarian Erin Duerr stops by the KIOS-FM studios to chat with Mike Hogan "Live & Local" about the program, the benefits of the library, and the future of this important public service.

You can see Ted Genoways on Sunday, October 13, from 3:00PM – 5:00PM at The Durham Museum.  Registration is required as seats are limited.
