Public Radio International is ending production of Riverwalk Jazz at the end of December after a 25 year run. The final broadcast on KIOS will be Saturday, December 26.
Taking its place in the Saturday night schedule at 7:00PM each week beginning January 2 is Jazz Happening Now, hosted by Jeff Hanley.
The program will connect listeners to today's vibrant jazz scene-from emerging artists to the living legends still playing and recording. Innovation, invention, musicality, and heritage will be hallmarks of the program.
