(Lincoln, NE) -- State legislators are considering a bill that would legalize access to cannabis for medical use. Senator Anna Wishart introduced LB 110 this week after the 2019 legislative session opened on Wednesday. The District 27 democrat says the bill comes in response to her experience with residents suffering from disease or illness who need access to this type of medication. She says she hopes lawmakers can agree on a sustainable medical cannabis system this year.
