"Team Jack" Holds First Omaha Event, Exec Dir. Kylie Dockter Explains on KIOS-FM

A boy named Jack Hoffman underwent chemotherapy after being diagnosed with cancer in 2011.  In 2013, he drew national attention when he ran for a player-assisted, 69-yard touchdown in the Huskers' spring game.  This also drew attention to a foundation in his name that is working to stomp out pediatric brain cancer.

Kylie Dockter, Executive Director of the Team Jack Foundation, joins Mike Hogan for a special edition of "Live & Local" to discuss the mission of Team Jack and outline their first ever Omaha fundraising event.

Team Jack's 'An Evening with Napa Valley' wine event is Thursday, October 10, 2019 and will feature wines from Stag's Leap Wine Cellars in Napa Valley, California along with heavy hors d'oeuvres.  Attendees can enjoy a wonderful evening at Happy Hollow Country Club tasting highly sought after wines and learning about Team Jack's Pediatric Brain Tumor Program at UNMC & Children's Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha and its importance.
