(Omaha, NE) -- The Omaha City Council is delaying a vote on the mayor's recommended trash-hauling contract proposal. Council members decided yesterday to delay a vote on the bid until June 4th. The mayor had recommended a contract with FCC Environmental that would combine trash and yard waste collection. Mayor Jean Stothert has asked for an outside review of the lowest bid, which was submitted by West Central Sanitation.
