(Omaha, NE) -- The Omaha school principal who put out a memo saying Christmas decorations would not be allowed is being put on leave. A school district spokesperson says Jennifer Sinclair is a new principal at Manchester Elementary in the city's Elkhorn section and did not consult with administrators regarding school policy on how to handle religious holidays. Sinclair said in the memo that the decorations were being banned because the school needed to be inclusive and culturally sensitive.
