Why Does the Wind Always Blow in Your Face?

We learn what the deal is with the wind always blowing in our faces, and learn a bit about science literacy and recognizing bias while we are at it.

Special thanks to UNO Physics Department Chair and STEM Teaching, Research, and Inquiry-based Learning (TRAIL) Center Director Christopher Moore, PhD for speaking to me and reminding me that the world isn't conspiring to frustrate us.

David first started broadcasting at his hometown radio station in Holdrege, Nebraska while still in high school. He went on to earn journalism and law degrees from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, served as an officer in the U.S. Army, and has worked for radio and television stations across the United States. He is a big advocate for community media and loves being a part of the local fabric of NPR. He also has a cat, Pickles.
