Lewis & Clark and Council Bluff

We learn about when Lewis and Clark visited the Nebraska/Iowa region in their expedition up the Missouri River in 1804, and their lasting impact in creating the places we now call home.

Special thanks to local historian Troy Stolp for sharing this story. Troy's knowledge and enthusiasm for the history of the Missouri river and its shaping of human habitation over the millennia here is just infectious.
