Courts Observe National Adoption Day

(Omaha, NE)  --  Nearly 40 children are no longer in foster care in Douglas County.  Thirty-nine children were adopted at the Omaha-Douglas County Civic Center on Saturday as a part of National Adoption Day.  The Douglas County Juvenile Court has held the adoption event for the past 19 years.  A celebration was also held for the adopted children at the Omaha Children's Museum.
