COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (AP) — A Council Bluffs man has been arrested on suspicion of robbing several area businesses over a short period.

The Council Bluffs Police Department says 24-year-old Matthew T. Koval was placed into custody Wednesday night. Court records do not list an attorney.

Koval is accused of robbing a Walgreens store and displaying a weapon. He was apprehended outside the business.
