12-year-old Omaha murder suspect arrested

A 12-year-old Omaha boy wanted in connection with a shooting death near an Omaha park has been arrested in Minnesota.

Omaha Police say Jarrell Milton was arrested Tuesday in Minneapolis by U.S. Marshals and the Metro Area Fugitive Task Force. He’ll be extradited to Omaha to face charges.

15-year-old Shuntayvious Primes-Willis and 17-year-old Jamar Milton are charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of 31-year-old Jamymell Ray. Another man, 30-year-old Charles Fisher, was shot and wounded. The shooting happened June 29th near 24th Street and Redick Avenue.

Primes-Willis and Jamar Milton appeared in court Tuesday and are being held without bail.
