The Omaha Public Schools board will once again be looking for a new superintendent.

The board voted 9-1 Saturday afternoon, with two members absent, to accept Nancy Sebring's resignation. Board member Justin Wayne voted no. Sebring, the former Des Moines Public Schools superintendent, notified the board Saturday morning she'd resign following reports that she sent and received sexually explicit emails from her school district account.

Sebring was set to begin work July first, taking over for retiring superintendent John Mackiel.

Board President Freddie Gray says discussions as to what's next for the superintendent search will happen Monday.
