Omaha Public Schools superintendent-elect Mark Evans will begin his new job July first.

The OPS board approved a contract with Evans at Wednesday night’s board meeting. It’s a three-year contract. Evans will be paid $265,000 per year.

He’ll also have an annuity of 14 percent of his salary per year, and a vehicle allowance of $12,000 annually.
