The entire city of Council Bluffs is under a boil water order.
Council Bluffs Water Works says a water main broke early this morning near Avenue E and North 9th Street. The break caused a loss of water pressure on the city’s west side. Officials say the system pressure is returning to normal.
The boil water order was issued as a precaution and is in effect until further notice. More information is available at www.cbwaterworks.com.
