(Omaha, NE) -- Douglas County officials are set to consider an offer to buy the Metropolitan Utilities District headquarters building in downtown Omaha. The county board is expected to discuss the six-million-dollar offer at today's meeting and vote on it next week. County officials want to buy the property at 17th and Harney to build a proposed courthouse annex and juvenile justice center.
