Lawmaker To Propose Student Athlete Bill

(Lincoln, NE)  --  Student-athletes at Nebraska colleges could soon be compensated for the use of their names and images.  State Senator Megan Hunt says she plans to introduce a Fair Pay to Play bill that would allow athletes to hire agents and to be paid for their images and likenesses.  The NCAA decided this week to allow student-athletes to receive compensation.
