Rain, darkness, nor snow will stop the "Walk to End Alzheimer's" but high winds will!   The walk scheduled for this past Sunday had to be cancelled when wind carried one of the 10' by 10' tents across Stinson Park.  Co-chair for the annual event, Sue McCann chats with Mike Hogan "Live & Local" about how safety became an issue with the high winds.

The upshot is that you still have the chance to participate, as the walk has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 19th!  For more information about the walk, volunteering, or registration can be found at the website: https://act.alz.org/site/TR/Walk2019/NE-Nebraska?fr_id=12539&pg=entry
